Russian retailer Lenta will present its new format in Okhta Mall

SRV Group in Russia has signed lease agreement with the federal food retail chain Lenta. The retailer will occupy more than 9’000 square meters in the basement of the shopping centre Okhta Mall which is implemented by SRV in Saint-Petersburg.

In Okhta Mall hypermarket Lenta will be present in the new format, not previously represented in St. Petersburg. The lease contract was signed for 20 years.

Lenta has joined the number of anchor tenants of Okhta Mall, which already includes a Decathlon, H&M, local kids’ hypermarket Mama and Yliopiston Apteekki. Among other tenants of the shopping gallery could be found local brands such as Rive Gauche, Bushe, Russian cousin restaurant Dyuzhina, Hard Wok Café and others.

Anders Liljenstolpe, Deputy regional director of SRV Russia: “Lenta is one of the leading federal  FMCG chains in Russia having long-term successful history on the Saint-Petersburg market and is highly popular among local residents. Being a professional company Lenta provides customers with high level of service and will significantly strengthen the tenant-mix of our project.  Okhta Mall will be the first quality shopping center in the Krasnogvardeisky region, convenient transport accessibility of the city centre will attract visitors from all parts of St. Petersburg”.

The shopping centre Okhta Mall is implemented by SRV group in the Eastern part of Saint Petersburg. Object to be completed in the 1st half of 2016. The total area of ‘Okhta Mall’ is 142’000 sq. m, GLA – 78’000 sq. m. The object includes 2 underground levels, including parking with a capacity of about 1’900 cars, and 4 above-ground floors, which will house more than 240 stores.
